Recovery Court Advocates work alongside the Recovery Court Teams and communities to support individuals through the treatment court process. Advocates offer guidance and support through challenges and successes and act as a bridge between the justice system and recovery. By working to address the root causes of addiction and justice system involvement, advocates foster a path towards recovery and resilience.

The Mediation and Restorative Justice Center operates Recovery Court in Madison, Yancey, Avery, Mitchell, Watauga Counties.
